Hi Raymond B , mate any animal that chews on trees makes them rather unique , only got to look at the old Japanese master pieces made by nature refined by man .

Here is a couple more made/hacked by man to be refined by me .These were growing on a side cutting in the plantation , they were cut and slashed by workers keeping the tracks open , basically chop tops that survived .Hopefully the majority will survive the forecasted hot Summer . I managed to find another 60 odd seedlings worth saving now planted into a new grow bed .

I decided to have a look at a collected trunk , this could be a cascade depending on the decision at a later date , it could also be rotated into a cliff hanging Aussie style 5 trunk group .Yes there is such a style i just made it up now and put it in my category of styles . A slip pot has taken place as the bloody curl grubs were found while rotating the trunk . Some basic wiring for the multi tale cascade or what ever takes my fancy later on . detail wiring will be done later when and if it survives the re-pot and major bending . I certainly like the idea of a cliff dweller multi trunk This is the grow bed after 16 months , making good growth .

Hi Boom64 , mate just tickling a few tree's nowadays. Managed to trim a few dozen pines and a hundred or so Trident Shohin last week , needed time off work and boredom set in so I cut loose with the hedge trimmers .

I think a Cliff Hanger style sound good , Shibui has a water swept . No-one seems to know what the Aussie style really is , then again someone would have to throw a spanner in the work and make up rules
