Hi everyone. My little fig has grown a lot since the last post and has pushed out branches where it was looking flat. Can anyone help me with what I should do now?

Hi,

Here is a P J Fig that has always been in a bonsai pot and is now about 20 years old from tube stock. The trunk has continued to fatten over the years but it is less than 30cm high. Keep them well fertilised and defoliate as often as they and you can withstand it.

Figs don't grow really quick in Canberra so I am pleased just to see it alive and in good health. Imagine what can be done in warmer climes.

It is now indoors for the winter till about mid October.
