Whether peach or willow, don't waste precious time on it. They are both useless bonsai.

I have had a similar experience finding an unkillable plant in a school playground that grew, I am figuring, from a child's neglected play lunch tossed into the garden. Guessing a peach. I have gone down the road of creating some shape to form bonsai. Have enjoyed the exercise so far. Check out the progress. Dibbo

Firstly @Dibbo - my apologies that I never replied to your post here ... I cannot remember seeing it. Thanks for posting and it will be interesting to see how it progresses.

I took mine out last weekend - two years after my first post! :roll:

In the end, went hard at roots and cleaning it out .... who knows. I don't much care and I have nothing to lose - it was going into the Green bin - so a detour into a wooden grow pot can't hurt!

We'll see what happens.
