I'll throw my hat in the ring (maybe that's my tree?).
This bottlebrush got some new shoes after it flowered.

I think this is your second tree and it’s 2 from 2 John. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

You are nailing a stark but stoic character. I am not sure if this tree is from a fire ravaged area but it could be - standing in isolation - surrounded amongst stumps lost around it.

I am drawn to that longer branch leaning out to the right towards the top 1/4 .... does it stay or go? .... the coin is in the air - I like it - it’s adds something to this trees unique character.

Excellent stuff. Cheers for posting.

One more from me, this is a Leptospermum that I have a soft spot for.

I'm just a year in on the lepto journey Watto, so have nothing with much shape yet. Are they something that responds to constant pruning/pinching? This one of yours seems to have bulked up nicely!

I give it a few trimmings a year Mel and that seems to help the ramification.
These had a reputation as difficult to transplant previously but I have found no problem to date.
