any one please tell me where do you get this gel or powder or this rooting liquid?
i want to but i dont know where to buy. i would try bunnings. but really i dont know they have or not.
i am in WA perth so dont know where to look.

Hi ahmad-javed , welcome to Ausbonsai . You can get rooting powders and gels at most nurseries or garden supplies. Bunnings would most likely stock it .Cheers Alpineart

Hi Jamie , i use Yates Plant cutting powder for everything . Now not sounding like a rocket scientist , i simply add a little water to the powder in a separate container and and make a stiff paste then paint it on with a fine artists brush. You can actually roll the paste up under the flaps if you cut the bark as such and roll the brush up and under .

I have tried gel but find the "powder made paste" more effective be it the mass application in the desired position and it stays put , and doesn't dilute or wash away as in ground layering . If you don't use all the paste put it aside and it will dry up , re-wet for further use "bonus" you cant spill it and the wind won't blow it away.Cheers Alpine
