I live in Mt. Gravatt.
My serissa is flourishing (in full sun since 2020 - all year long), though I have been told that they prefer partial shade.
It loves water despite what people tell you - keep the soil moist - from what I have read, don't let it dry out, but don't sit it in water.
they drop leaves after pruning, and I also believe they tolerate root pruning quite well. (I haven't done mine yet)
