That looks great! I learnt a new technique with Lilly Pilly this year, don't defoliate just before a month of rain! Two dead. 
Great tree and pot combination . This tree deserves the pot that had specially made.
Appreciate the detailed explanations and photos which assist in understanding the progression.
A bonsai you should be proud of.
This post did prompt me to go and have a look at my Lilly Pillies that are in training pots to see if I could work towards something similar.
