Hi,

Can anyone steer me to someone willing to sell either a large Japanese maple bonsai or something pre bonsai.


I want something well established , solid trunk lines and in need of some development or something well developed.

Understand that what I’m after potentially won’t be cheap which is ok providing the quality is there

Ginkgos are being troublesome; taking a long time to go yellow so i'm losing a lot of foliage while some is still remaining green

Anyway, off to look at the Aurora again, it's been putting a show on all night

One of my little JMs has decided to turn red for this thread. This was a cutting from my neighbour's 40 year old tree (with permission) a year and a bit ago:

Last one for me for the year, the rest are now dormant or very close to it.

At last I have some colour. Nothing to match you guys down south though. My Tridents are all very disappointing this year, and the Crepe myrtles have mostly lost their leaves without giving their usual vibrant colour.

This Chinese pistachio though, has never coloured like this before. I suspect that it's enjoying being out in the full sky access day and night, since the other two I have are more sheltered, and are still green.

This persimmon is currently being grown in the ground, and not getting any training. It's pretty reliable with its orange leaves.
