Please be brutatly honest i'd like some ideas

Pic 021 is the front you choose? I think the left hand side is perfect and will fill out perfectly. The right hand side is too heavy. Too much foilage and the branches don't have the same pitch/angle as the left. If you sort those little things it'll be a great tree.

Just some trimming.....

Then grow out, detail wire, new pot etc.

i was thinking the same but wanted to see if someone else noticed allso im a bit worried about the large jin crossing the trunk line so i could rotate the front and remove a lower right branch what do you guys think

This is a style that I would like to get a grasp of but can't say I have yet I need to learn this for my Grape.
I would say that Jin is an issue. Looking at the tree you have for inspiration there is great movement down low which seems to set it up for the slanting style.
I think I like the movement in the trunk in the frame Dayne has selected. I would also consider the oposite of this as a front. It looks like the base is slightly better there and the movement should be very similar although it is hard to see hidden behind the foliage at the moment.

well went and did a bit of work again shortend the right side and shortened the large jin that was crossing over the trunk i think its a lot better heres a virt

nice mate that turned out really well cant wait to see how it looks in a few years. wish my junipers were up to that standard, mine look like seedlings compared to this one.

G`day Dayne mate I had a go at a virt of your juni, I think the tree could look good being tilted to the left . The reason I would do this is to accentuate the movement in that direction. How about a shallow drum or a shallow free form mate.......go for it mate....

heres a few i have found, might be a bit deep, more freeforms than drums, have to find the right shots and resize them to suit etc. etc.
i think this one is a bit deep...
and i thought the cresent might be a bit different


sorry if they are a bit rough, bub was having trouble with her teeth and i was getting called away every couple of minutes while i was trying to do them.

WELL DONE JAMIE!!! Mate I like the drum pot as well , I also like the one with the Pat Kennedy feel, ( the top one ). I think for this tree to go into a shell it would have to be potted on more of an angle.
