mate, thats a fair call and definately you are entitled to an opinion like everyone else, i am concerned about the foliage myself, i am wondering how it would take to grafting something like shimpaku foliage to it??? i dont know?
the driftwood can be worked on and taken down, it is a rather severe point i do agree, as for making a raft forest that wouldnt work for me, i cant have big trees anymore, i need to look toward shohin size, maybe chuhin at the biggest, i have a few prolased discs in my back from a work accident, so no more heavy lifting for me althought that would of been a good idea. i still think that you would of come acros the same problem with foliage no matter what you went with, i think with refinement and time i might be able to change your mind on it all
maybe
cheers ed.
