As I said I thought I would be pretty definite in being able to tell the difference between coincidence and this stuff curing the problem.
This is about 12 days after application and from watching this fungus closely I know leaves don't get this big without showing signs of distress (curling or dead tissue).
This is a very good sign and I am confident this is the answer.

Thanks Mela it looks like you have saved my trident collection.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

I was talking about starting a berry farm tonight and the Misses reckons it might be a good idea so I can use up all the fungacide I bought
I got some for Sale prw67
500ml bottle $20 plus postage which should be $5 or express $8. I think this is pretty fair as it will be delivered to your door probably cheaper than you could buy from the store if it was even available. Also this seems to be top shelf quality stuff.
I will PM you :)

I semi-defoliated my trident in early January by removing most of the badly damaged leaves. I didn't want to press it by completely defoliating twice in one season. It continues to grow well and I spray every fortnight. I think anyone buying one or two litres must have one hell of a lot of sick tridents. I use about 6-8 drops to 500 ml and drench the tree. I wear rubber gloves, cover the soil with layers of newspaper to provide runoff, put it in the side passage on the otto bin and start. From the bottom up, pad by pad, under, top, sides, branches, trunk. Gloved fingers move leaves so I get almost everywhere. It sits and dries before going back on the bench. I really seriously spray this tree.

I have one affected tree and if I have to spray it fortnightly I reckon the 500ml that I have will last well beyond the life of the tree.... or me.

The bottle from NZ cost about $28 so a good price is being quoted.

Not pleased to read it is a protectrant and not a cure but I guess you can't your cake and eat it too. Thanks for the additional research.

Hello from a noobee :D

First post here - I joined just before Christmas after Googling my way to the "burned deformed leaves" thread when researching my little Trident's problem.

Brett, many thanks for your offer to onsell the Bravo - I'd love to take you up on it (I'll send you a PM).
