My new tree - can anyone identify it please?

spot on there it will be washed through mate, you might need to give it another feed after the rains as it will be like it never got fert.

as for the tree i will see what i can dig up soon

i think the tag you had on the tree must be either wrong or you arent reading it right, everything i am coming into comes down to cells, micro organisms, fungi and arachnids, they are all part of a Eukaryota? so i think you havent seen it right, those tags can be more of a hindrance sometimes, so i think you are right, its a dead end pal

I bought this tree from B&^$#%*s yesterday and the id tag had faded so I don't what it is. I emailed the nursery that supplied it but they can't pick it either.
It has one seed left pod on it. The pods have a single black seed in them.

It has this gnarly bark. Some training wire was still on it and left these ugly marks. The securing wire was still around the roots too.

It's a Murraya - that seed pod/bud is now lovely orange-scented white flower. Can't explain the dark, gnarly bark on the trunk. Guess it might be done to it's hard life before my adopting it.

G.day Ron that last word might be EXOTICA , the reason I say this after reading the comments I went to my trusty, Encyclopaedia Botanica. It show just three Murraya's

Exotica from Qld and South east Asia . Murraya ovatifoliolata native to the Northern Territory and Qld. Murraya paniculata native to Maylaysia

The stem or trunk on exotica is desribed as beingerect and branching. On ovatifoliolata as smooth erect and branching. On paniculata as erect slender and branching with greyish bark.

Unfortunatly it does not mention the bark, but armed with this you might be able to google it eh!.
