Tree on rock composition??? Help & advice needed please

Hey bodhidharma
nice work you've done there on your rock planting.
I wasn't thinking too much about drainage because since the tree is growin in such a small pocket and on a rock the soil would drie out quickly so it wouldn't need drainage all that much, but maybe I should. And I was thinkng of sticking wires to the rock bit I could just use muck to hold the tree in.
Thanks for the tip on how much root can be cut off the juni as that is proably the main concern, not to kill the tree.
