Hey John,
This is definitely a Hakea, I have an identical plant i have been growing for about 3yrs from seed. I would love to know your care regime, feeding, repotting etc. Mine has been on a glass slab for its whole life & i have been wondering how to go about the repotting as its due.

Hi all
It is definitely not a Callitris. I think Hakea is likely. Can't help much re Hakea.
I am constantly surprised by people telling me at demonstrations of difficulties in growing/slow or no regrowth in Callitris.I have been growing them for many years without any difficulties or lack of regrowth. They are members of the family that include the Junipers. If treated similarly they respond beautifully. I have been known to remove more than 80% of foliage and within 4 - 5 weeks they are a mass of regrowth.

cheers dennis, it is interesting that the growth you have compared to information i have seen and read on the callitris re growth and trunk/branch thickening.
i have no experience with them personally, is there any chance you could show us a couple of yours that you have worked with? please?
