thanks guys sorry no pics of pots today, had another full day of moving and barely got time to scratch me bum while i was watering the trees while getting my cousin to do something else etc. etc. you know how it goes

and yea your pretty much right, working to hard to long and took a fall off a ladder from six foot up landing square on my tail bone and rupturing discs in my back.. wasnt a nice day that one, wont go near a ladder now though!

i have time tomorrow so i will get fresh pics of trees and pots. thanks for your patience guys

Have had 10 injections into my spine a bilateral facet denervation 1 discectomy and now going in for a Posterior Lumbar Fusion. shari day at work also.

man thats rough, i know what ya feeling! i know its a bit of a gamble with the fusion, i havent gone down that path yet, still trying to get things to go my way with the docs. on a bright note, one of my daughters friends Dad had the same prob and got the fusion done, he said he couldnt beleive the difference it made, sometimes it doesnt work though, the prob with mine is that it is L4/L5/S1 so two discs that are just sludge foating around in there and to get the fuse could possiby stuff me up more. anyways thats a bit down the road so they tell me.

Mine is also L4/L5 & S1 I was seeing a Prof. Dan of Neurosurgery who performed the discetcomy again bits of bone floating about worked a treat as I no longer have a numb leg and the pins and needles are gone. But the other surgeon says I will loose only around 4 degrees of movement at extension which is way better than what I have now. But like he said and so did the Neurosurgeon everybody's back problems are different I will however keep ya posted.

Its such a bitch because you are so used to doing normal stuff lifting bending carrying twisting and now you cant do anything it sucks and at only 31 not good news but hey they say they can fix it..

to right mate little trees are a god send! i know what ya mean bout how they say every ones back is different, i have seen to neuro surgeons, an a couple of other "specialists" got a different answer each time, i wish i had some extension, but we are in a boat were we have to basically learn to do everything again the simple things like even sitting has to be done differently to find comfort, frustrating, bring on the trees i say... as long as they are shohin!

My dad had a spinal fusion probably 40 years ago when it was still experimental. While he was never without pain afterwards, it was bearable and at least he could walk normally and have a life. Before the fusion he was in agony the whole time and could do little but lie flat. Afterwards he could do most things but with limits, but could not sit for very long, making travel difficult. I could not tell you which vertebrae were involved, and he has passed on 10 years ago now. Hope you both find some answers quick - living with pain is debilitating in itself.
