Wire good movement into those branches. I can see beautiful tree in not much time (ficus my favourite)

.
Aim for branch and foliage structure perhaps like this wide banyan look? There will be plenty of refining to do so keep a check on that.

I would choose pic no 3 The trunk and roots look the best on this side.

i was actually liking the movement of the side shot, it will be a completly diferent tree once these branches are wired out and placed.
amazonida, i know you ask for advice to try and get the best for your tree, i can understand that, i have done so and still do. if it were mine i would wire it out and place the branching where they need to be you have a great trunk that needs to be worked with the branching to bring the whole composition together.

Jamie is spot on there get some wire on it quickly or your branches will be too woody and your'll have to cut it all back again.

its hard to see what your trying to achieve here i think a big help for you would be to sketch out what you are thinking you dont have to be a good drawer but it will help to get a plan together

Hi Amazonida, you have thinned out more branches than I would have but thats not such a problem as more will grow. It could be a good idea to put some curves into the proposed trunks as well.

OMG!!! what did you do!!!?????????????????
...ah just kidding

as craig has said less branches than i would have taken off too but it is done now, i would wire the vertical trunks you intend to keep and put movement into them too. easnt suggesting a new front as such as the trunk is wider on this side, it was just showing a bit more movement i beleive.
as dayne said have a crack at a sketch of what you see, very basic will be just fine then we can see your thoughts and work from there. a tip with that is to keep the tree in front of you while sketching so you can look at it when you need too

I like Jamies virt much better than the one you got on IBC, James is a bit more interesting and off beat.

I agree on that. if you can copy Jamie's virt into reality with a bit more leaf coverage that will be a stunner. Oh, to have fast growing Fig's
