This is how I see it skip I have also attempted to lighten the bottom pads by dividing them. Mate I think if the apex was lowered it would look better in a more shallow wider pot. Cheers Rod.....

Hey mate, like i said in sydney, photos dont do this tree justice. I do agree with what has been said though. Rod has got it on the money. the seperating of pads and rounding off of the apex. Tree to trunk ratio is awesome, so for me its not so much height as it is the triangular shape that i find displeasing. The planting of the tree seems to be sitting on the soil rather than in the soil. I think i would rather the soil level a little higher. I would reccomend a Dale Cochoy pot for this big boy. I find dales pots maculine and butch. His glazes and finish's would compliment this tree well. That way dimensions are customised too. IMO rectangle, rounded corners, no rim. (With Rods shape that is) :D ;) 8-)
