$18 for 35l seems very cheap! I think I might have to go down and get some

Stafford is close enough to me.
I’m probably thinking about mixing it 50/50 with normal potting mix. And when I put trees in proper pots I’ll probably use it straight.

Kleensorb ( Diatomite) is calcined (super-heated) Diatomaceous Earth. Diatomaceous Earth is a sedimentary rock made up primarily of amorphous silica (see analysis). It is not crystallinesilica. The heating process does not exceed the temperature necessary to convert amorphous silica to crystalline silica.
We use use it a replacement for gravel ( or as the complete growing medium) as it it absorbent and light
I use it exclusively now to grow my trees in with a mix of 2/3 Diatomite, and 1/3 Zeolite
