Hey John - that a beaut virt mate. If it is not too much trouble, could you possibly make the pot a bit larger?

Good man! So what do you think of the pot? Do you think the tree could work with this style of pot?
Anyone else think it could work in this pot?

Re: 1981 Shimpaku Juniper Restyle
Here the thing.
i made the pot shorter.
the one before was the same dimension as the little one but bigger.
i've change the diamention of this one. it's same in width and length. but height has been reduce for the pot. just by a little bit.
i think this way it there's less attention to the pot and more to the tree.

I like the taller pot, Keith has a great talent, virts are excellent. Too much moss distracts from the foliage pads. I also like where you are going with your tree.
Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

I was talking to Janet Selby about a pot for this tree. Janet brilliantly put together this one for me. I will see if it suits and post a pic.

Re: 1981 Shimpaku Juniper Restyle
Here is the new pot. Somehow along my way for getting Janet to make the pot, I seem to have forgotten where viewing point for the tree was! Nevermind, The pot looks great from both sides.
So what do you think? Anyone like it? Anyone dislike it?
The tree still has a way to go before I am happy with it. Getting it into a new pot will allow the tree to grow at it's new angle, thus making new development a bit easier. I will post again with the progress next year.So what do you think? Anyone like it? Anyone dislike it?

Hi Leigh
Great looking tree, that pot looks like the perect fit. I think that the higher right side works well emphasising the drop of the trunk.
By the way if your really not happy with the tree I would be more than happy to take it off your hands
Can't wait to see it when your finally happy with it.

Yes, I like it. The whole setting of pot and tree look well balanced. Good job Leigh.
