Hi Craigw , its certainly coming along nicely . Unfortunately they don't particularly like my climate .I do have a few Euro Red Pines / Pinus Resinosa however they don't take to bending very well as they are extremely brittle . Thanks for posting ,its motivated me to get it together and do what needs doing .

Firstly it was a very nice job on the reshape - much more attractive specimen now.
Secondly, what a great group of people to take on a dying man's wish and keep his dreams quite literally alive! Glad to see the good guys have not all left the building.

beautiful tree and not too many of these red pines around. I feed mine heavily last 12 months as your recommendation and the differance is huge. Ill post a pic if you dont mind

Alpine, I am surprised you can't grow red pine, my trouble here is we haven't had enough consistent heat the last couple of summers to really get them going.
Driach, the pleasure is mine to inherit such a lovely tree to work with
Matthew, looking forward to seeing how yours is going, most of my pine experience is with radiata so I find working the foliage on this one a bit of a challenge
