A Polystyrene vegie box with some holes, and some soil and a plastic sheet over the top works wonder for me. Take cuttings any time. The styrene act to cool them in summer and warm them in winter. The plastic cover gives the humidity for a good strike rate of around 80percent. I also use the bottom of a cool drink bottle with a 40ml pot, trike rate is also very good. Tried one of those Bussings propagating boxes all the Hokkeido elms failed.
Will stick with my freebie propagation methods in future.

Hey Pup , Are you talking about the Yates one with the green adjusting vents?

If so might take my ones out and turf it , I have one spare vegie box ready to go

No not that one this one had individual little pots, with drainage holes but did not drain properly, as I found out too late. The humidity was great just no drainage so the soil stayed wet not moist.

A mate of mine has used that one. He reckons it works well. As I said I will stick with what I have had most success with.
