Leigh, everyone knows real men need at least two mates to help lift their Bonsai :) , but those trees of yours are gorgeous.
Anyone can make a large Bonsai look good, but it takes style to get them there little suckers looking as great as yours.
Couple there I wouldn't mind taking off your hands either.

Thanks for the pics Jamie, you are very talented.

Hi Graeme, thanks for the compliment. The deciduous trees need their summer wiring and placement of branches, some are still very much a work in progress. Some of them have a fair bit of age to them (up to around 35 years old), but they are all under 25cm. I am on the hunt for more shohin pots - and I want top quality!

Here is a tree that I worked on at the Illawarra Tops weekend. Still a way to go, but thought I would show the progress here.

Yeah, you are probably right - it is a little ugly! Maybe if I tilt it a bit to the left?

Its not that ugly, i just think the foliage is a fraction to far away from the base and dead wood. Can you put a twist in the upright live piece so it brings the top down and over the left a bit more? Perhaps a guy wire off the little elbow in the middle and pulled down? would help to hid the straight section that is there.

Once it fills in it should look great the way it is.

Hi Leigh, I have just been reading through this thread for the first time and you certainly have some ripper minis here mate! :fc:
I was wondering if you could possibly do an update on some of these trees?...any that you choose (there are so many!).
I hope they are all in good health and doing well!
Oh yeah, they are great drawings Jamie, top work! :tu2:
Thanks, and look forward to some pics when it suits you.
Cheers, Dario. :)

Thanks for your interest. I am in the process of preparing most of these trees, and a whole bunch more, for sale - they will be ready in May 2013.
