It looks more than OK to me & given how little I let rules dictate with my own trees I wouldnt try to ram it down anyone elses throat.

Seeing it from above does change the whole picture greatly, part of it being that one I removed was the fact it seemed to come from the base of the main tree at front, maybe a slight change of angle to seperate them or is this part of your cunning plan?

Matt

Cheers Matt  , I'll more than likely change the angle slightly when repotting, so the trunklines are seperated. I sort of just threw it in this pot ,not too many other pot choices at the time.Na theres no cunning plan :shake:. This pic show what you were seeing,,, cheers Craig

:gday: Craig this is moving along nicely, what would set this apart, would be a shallower and slightly longer tray. Or even a slab :!:

Just my :2c: Pup

:gday: All,
The Raft part of this setting was attacked by scale and is now starting to get over it  , Last season i noticed the soil was staying wet for too long, so i have repotted it into this little pot, .The main tree is now becoming the dominant tree. :)

I agree, the size is great and helps the overall look of the tree, but the colour clashes a little too much and I find my eyes darting from the trees to the pot rather than seeing them as one flowing object.

What excellent progress on the tree's though! I would love to see these on a slab too I think =D

Love the new pot Craig! Just added so much to the overall feel, much more "flowing" now :tu:
