Tis a Salt pool as well
They have been Ok so far, but have not been this close so yes I will have to monitor it. My theory is that not that much water will get on them to soak in so I hope they wil be OK
ps . It is usually me doing the "bombing"

More pics Showing the watering system itself
I have too many sprinkler heads for just 1 run, so have had to add another Valve and pipe run today
the valves are controlled by an Electronic mains powered programmable timer which is inside the house. 2 runs of low voltage signal wires go out to the tap.
My main bencehes and gardens have mist sprayes on the top of the fence and these water all the trees in pots and in the ground.
Trees on my poles have 2 sprayers on theme with a inline tap to regulate the flow to them so the pots only get watered and not the ground around them
I ma making little wooden stands for the top of each post so I can attach the sprayers to tehm rather than the pots. This makes it easy to move my trees afournt to suit the weather as needed

Nice K.C. Lying in the pool, beer in hand, making plans on your next design change

Let alone providing a humid climate for your trees.Covers all the bases. Maybe a little shade cloth awning along the top of the fence line for those hotter days. Excellent planning. Only problem i foresee is a ball game in the pool with the kids getting out of hand and throwing that ball really hard.

Greetings holiday makers,
As I now have an old cat to consider as well as a few too many trees, I ask one of the young things from work to house sit.
If thay are still living at home with mum and dad they jump at the chance to holiday as well.
As all my colleagues have a university degree, teaching the hand watering of bonsai is not too hard. Getting them past the wine cellar is the hard part of the training. House sitters can also be found with google.
Also I have found that friends from my local bonsai club, Bimer, are happy to visit and check my trees.
I have tried the electric watering systems and found hand watering to be the best.
Happy bonsai,
Bruce.
Ps, yes i have done the 200km round trip at 4am while on holiday to check my trees. BB.
