Hi mate, from top to bottom sorry for not naming them.
The first one is, a Melaleuca rhaphiophylla, the second the one you asked about , is a M, lanceolata subp, I think it is planifolia, not 100 percent it could also be occidentalis, considering where the parent was collected from.
The next one is M, ringens, was on the endangered list till they had success propagating it. Next is Babingtonia virgata, next is M, preissiana.
Then M, rhaphiophylla and last but not least is, Adenanthos cygnorum this one is a member of the same family as the Banksia, Protaeaceae.
Do we need more?
Cheers

Just thought I'd help this thread by posting a few pics. I'll start off with a couple of PRIVET:-
The Semi Cascade grown from seedling (about 1999)and the Informal Upright collected as a pencil thin base with no existing branches kept.
The cascade is in an antique Chinese ceramic pot
cheers

Heres a couple of my little natives in training. The lemon scented gum will be pushing the upper limits of height depending on who you use as guide.

And I had to share this superb display of shohin by Kenji Oshima.

No surprise it won the best shohin display at Taikan Ten Bonsai Exhibition this year. More photos can be found on IBC at
http://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/gener ... -t4824.htm And more again will be published in International Bonsai.

It is great to see all these Shohin photos. Thanks to Matt, Dave, Pup, Mojo, Noah, and Lisa (from another topic)(hope I haven't left anyone out). I would love to help the cause but I consider that all of my Shohin are still in early training stages.
