Extremely well done Ash, for any one interested, as you can imagine, the photos don't do it justice, this tree is gorgeous up close.

Another four or five years on ... Ficus obliqua 'Mary Banyan'
Tree: Ficus obliqua collected in Queensland in 1981. Approximately 40 cm high and 80 cm wide.
Pot: Mr Kataoka, Tokoname, Japan.
Stand: Kinbon, Japan.
Time for a bit of sturdy copper wire to gently bring the lower branches down again (and again [and again each year!]).
Tree: Ficus obliqua collected in Queensland in 1981. Approximately 40 cm high and 80 cm wide.
Pot: Mr Kataoka, Tokoname, Japan.
Stand: Kinbon, Japan.
Time for a bit of sturdy copper wire to gently bring the lower branches down again (and again [and again each year!]).

I hear you....
