Craig wheres mojo ? he will be trying to twist your arm for more than one if there on there own roots. how about he gets one for himself and one for me since i cant make it down which is a shame
That's right I'd forgotten that Noah hasn't lost his Goyomatsu cherry yet . I already have a young JWP on it's own legs, courtesy of Craig's generosity last year. Seems to be enjoying itself up here in the cool mountain air, living in a collander. If I get my way, it is going to be living 100m higher up in the near future , I checked out some new North facing digs this arvo.
Cheers,
Mojo

Hi Craig, Same town, better location and a postcard view. More sun, more rain, and snow, hopefully less wind.
I'll let you know if it goes ahead and you can come and visit.
Cheers,
Mojo

Sounds great 100m makes a huge difference. I know the gardens I work in just up the hill from here are significantly cooler and wetter than here.

Hope I can make it on the day.
Please note that Bonsai Society of Victoria is having its third annual sales day on Sunday May 29th at the Kew Masonic Centre, 31-33 Strathalbyn St. East Kew.
10am to 1pm
Great to hear Scott, introduce yourself, i will be the guy trying to figure out how to get a massive collected radiata out of a kombi...
I also just heard from Chris at Bonsai the imagination tree and they are holding a free workshop at 12.30. They are just at the bottom of the hill so, drop into our sale day, pick up some great stock ad go down and see the guys there and have some fun playing with your new stock! A great day out and about!
I'll be there ... I've had this booked in the calendar for weeks! been bugging another bonsai mate to come along. This will be one of our much enjoyed bonsai road trips (usually it's to see undiscovered nurseries and club exhibitions) ... market/sale day is a great idea! hope it's a winner, and hope to see it back again next year!
hey buzza - just my but you should post "Bonsai Society of Victoria is having its third annual sales day on Sunday May 29th at the Kew Masonic Centre, 31-33 Strathalbyn St. East Kew. 10am to 1pm" as it's own post as I know many will be interested aswell and it can be :bump:ed closer to the date to let EVERYONE know ... sounds like another event to look forward to!
Cheers, Ryan Today I know more than I did yesterday, but less than I will tomorrow
The sale starts at 10:00am - get in early to snap up some offerings from some excellent growers.
There is going to be lots on offer so don't be shy, drop down and check out the sale.

Gday Mike & Co!
As much as I'd love to be there to snap up some bargains, it looks like I'll be accompanying my ladies to the Melbourne Ukulele Festival (not playing - just watching). I've already got more potential Bonsai than I can poke a stick at, but I'm sure the YVBS Sale Day will be one that would tempt me to buy another one or two...
Hi all YVBS guys, I'd love to be there today, had pencilled it in on my calendar, but I am snowed under with work at the moment and can't go . I hope it goes great and can be an annual event. See you all soon.
Cheers,
Mojo
