a couple more
the chinese elm is 12 cm tall and this one will go a deep red in a few days or so. its in early development but should come up , the maple is also first year so is the larch which is about 11cm. was root reduced by over 80% from 10 inch pot last winter did fine this year ,might come up good in time im in 2 odds about the tree but i love the pot its in

Just love those colours would love to be able to get them. So we have to make adjustments and use other.

At is best its my only chinese elm that turns this colour all others turn yellow. Also the little japanese maple now naked, afew years and the tree could be nice. fits in the palm of my hand a treat

Gave a talk on Miniatures at the convention last weekend, and made reference to the tree in the hand then compared my hand to Arron Sandilands AFL player, of nearly 7foot 6 in the old language, or if you prefer 226cm, his hand is about 26cm or 10 inches so it does become very ambiguous, in measurements.
Again it is us Westerners that insist on this, I prefer if it looks good and is small enough for any of the classifications then what is a mm or cm or two.
