What is done is done and by no means do i want to rehash what cannot be undone. I just cant help feeling that the left hander that got taken off could have been a great leader to lift up. i am learning here and through my own that some decisions need to be made earlier rather than later. This would have also placed the central trunk as a jin behind the new leader. either way now the central trunk has to be tackled carefully as to not clutter the composition. this is where angles for you grant on the other side of the lens will be clearer. What are you thinking about fronts and angles???

I think either branch would have done OK.

Part of the right hand branch can be bent up and behind and around the the back of the jin.
The rest can be tightened and compressed.

Yep; can do. I am prepping it for our upcoming show and still need to do some refining work on the Jin; everything else has gone to plan,
