To the best of my knowledge it is. The fella I got it of started to develop the tree as bonsai and had it for a few years.

Wow Andrew, looking awesome now! The reason I questioned it was due to the stickie about how to tell moreton bay vs port jacksons in the Ficus section on here. I know there is a bit of uncertainty coming from other members but if the original poster of the thread, Rory, is correct in his information it would look to me as if your tree is a port jackson. Anyway here's an extract from the thread.

All you have to do is remember, look at where the stem attaches to the leaf :

Moreton Bay Figs start with the letter 'M' and they have an M shape at the base of their leaf.
Port Jackson Figs have a U connection at the base of their leaf.

As the leaves on a Moreton Bay Fig get bigger, it becomes even more obvious. If you look under the leaf where the stem attaches, you will notice on a Moreton Bay Fig it connects a little bit in from the start of the base, and on a Port Jackson Fig it connects perfectly at the base.

Take a look at the stickie and decide for yourself, i'm just speculating and I couldn't get a really good look at your leaves just from the photos. Whatever it is it's looking great mate!
