Hornet i believe melonseed is a small leaf variety of retusa i dont know alot of the species except my large fig is one and leaves never get longer than 60mm and that is free growth. refining techniques can half that no problems. i believe jerry over in montana knows abit about this cultivar. They strike real easily from cuttings i have several small ones also. MY indian banyan was grown from seed and is shohin size. its getting there branching still along way off but happy with its development. since my move to victoria from central queensland growing time on my figs has been halved.
