Evening Bonsai Diehards

i have just completed the structural work for the shade cloth to fit onto. Many different designs flowed and were poo pooed for various reasons. We settled on a stepped framework to help counter act the slope of the land. I have three 8 metre bays and will be covering 2 bays in 50% shade cloth and one in 70% shadecloth. I thought I should take a few pictures before the shade cloth is delivered tomorrow, just in case anyone would like some ideas. Chat soon Mason (Bonsai at the Bay)

The shade cloth looks great. I dont know if I should have yet but I repotted the black Japanese Black Pine I got from you a couple days after I got it (its in my photo album on this site) and its looking very healthy. I got Rachael to get a Japanese boxwood for herself, after seeing your nursery she has got into bonsai aswell.

Hi ALL

Just a couple of photos of the nursery at night. I am not a great user of the camera but I thought you may like a few pictures to see how the nursery is looking after the rebuild late last year.

Enjoy

Thanks Mason

Hi ALL

I installed heavy timber slabs as benches over 12 months ago and over the easter break I oiled them with a decking oil after they had been battered by the summer heat. Just thought you may like to see a few pictures of the differences between the oiled and dry timber slabs.

Hey Dutchie
It would be nice to see you in May,
how are the trees going up North? Plenty of growth this year or has all the rain affected their growth patterns?
