In the next year or two I want to refine the overall silhouette into a more triangular shape and continue the refinement - foliage still a little sparse in places.
I have a small area that is protected from the birds and possums that frequent my place (a cage essentially) and trees in berry or in fruit are put there temporarily just for protection. Normally I would cut the berries off just so this species does not get into our bush-land.

Can you share some details about your fertilising regime for this tree?
I only got a singular berry on my Pyracantha!

In all honesty my feeding regime is a bit hap hazard and could be improved. That said I do use Powerfeed from early spring to about December and its easy because its a liquid. After that I use Bloom Booster (8; 14; 16) until probably end of May. I try to supplement those feeds with product called Boost and Feed which is a generalist fertilizer but I like it because it is granular form and you can just put a bit on the pot and it is taken into the soil by watering - when you can't see it any more it is all used up (the lazy mans way of feeding) and I use that all year round when every I think of it.
A couple of times in late summer or Autumn I try to give it a dose of a specialist product from Bass Laboratories that is designed for improved flowers and fruit and it has a NPK of 3; 16; 36. It might be the key but I can't be sure. Unfortunately the product doesn't have a name as such.
When I said I'm hap hazard, I should fertilize maybe every fortnight, but mine probably get it about every three or four weeks - OK maybe five weeks.
