This is a ficus viren. Common name is white fig. One of the fruiting species.

interesting, its been a year and a half since your last photo post, i wonder if you would mind updating us with a new photo? how is the scar? will it eventually heal over do you think?

i'm mostly working with f.benjamina and f.retusa and i have some thick branches collected from mature trees. the problem is, some are a bit lacking in taper and i was wondering if i could get away with carving some taper into them. do you think that's possible?
