That word TIME is very important reading is good, but actually trialing to prove your theory is much better.

So then after say 4 years of proof one way or tother you can make a valid point one way or tother.

This is just my :2c: for what it is worth.

A valid point and I totally agree. Hence why I said I am only aiming to make people aware of these products, and its then up to them if they wish to try them. Also I have mentioned I plan on documenting my experiments results regardless of outcome. I will be happy to admit being wrong, but if we don't try new things then how can we progress? If we didn't try new things we wouldn't be using modern substrates

Here is where I have based my heavy fert/watering regime which causes a lot of discussion/debate at my gf's uncles place who has been bonsai'ing for over 20 years and can't comprehend why I would want a free draining mix in the driest state of the driest continent. http://walter-pall-bonsai.blogspot.com. ... glish.html http://walter-pall-bonsai.blogspot.com. ... stuff.html

Just re-read the website and it says
Supercharge also conditions the root zone by displacing unwanted salts and replacing them with chelating organic compounds that revitalize root media.
Surely this is a plus for those using tap water to water their trees? I'd be interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
