Spring has come too early this here in Rustenburg, South Africa:

This picture of the Mulberries was taken last week. Other trees that are budding are Japanese Maples, Pomegranate, Celtis, Buxus,some Acacia, Bougainvillea and Combretum.

Oh well, we are going to have a 10 month long growing season here!

I cannot smell Spring at the moment. I have a cold and my nose is blocked :crybye:

I would say yes, but I am sure that August still has plans to put a frost or two on the idea.
I have a trident which is in bud burst one week after re-pot.

First thunder storm for this half of the year last night ,came out of nowhere but dropped a good lot of rain along with the usual lighting and thunder :)

In sydney at my place -
Chinese, seiju, Caitlin etc elms all budding out
Mulberry (bonsai and garden) trees leafing out
Pomigrantes budding out
Peires just starting to flower
Tridents swelling
Maples looking close

Fast running out of time for repotting, luckily I started early this year.....

Chojubai is flowering hard at the moment and my prunus is also swelling its flower buds. My chinese quince look like it will flower for the first time this year too!
