Hi Josh , mate they are more than happy in there, I will keep this out of the extreme heat this season for the sake of the tree's . Had to give it a trim last night , Wifey kept telling me it needed a hair cut so i decided to cut all the Nigra's before potting up .
Cheers Alpine

A quick trim only, no plucking yet or detailed wire however I have placed a single wire on the new addition

P1100898.JPG
and a decision to be made to leave them as semi cascade or trim back and wire the leaders back up . With the tree's as the focal point trimming back will expose too much rock .Lessons learned from last seasons heat will see this sheltered somewhat so the new growth should be very good hopefully thickening the leaders so the dont bow down too much under their own weight

Hi peterb , the colours are brickies mortar colour oxides and the waterproofing was bondcrete . Colours applied , blended then 3 coats of bondcrete was sprayed on , allow to dry in between coats .
