1st demo of Rogers I have seen and I really enjoyed it. He did a small fig with a fat base. I was interested in the way he spoke about some basics of bonsai and related them to life. A very different demo and one I thoroughly enjoyed :tu:

Thanks for all the help from the Bimer Club members to make the show a success. Also thanks to the visitors who all seemed to enjoy the trees and those who had such fun buying up big in the trade area.
The large willow leaf fig, first after the pots, was owned and styled by Wal who has been a bonsai fan for 40 years+. His wonderful collection is now scattered, age has caught up with him. He had the most amazing Japanese pot collection. He was very involved in starting Bimer 30 years ago.
We were very happy with the corrigated cardboard that we used for the back drop to the trees and the black felt on the tables was worth the expense.
The team were so pleased when I announced that the raffle tree had been won by a bonsai tragic. It was styled by Gib.
Our next show is the first weekend of April 2014.
Thanks for all the support,
Happy bonsai,
Bruce.
