Well thought I'd update this one,

This was the first tree I ever had a go at styling, and it shows haha.

I think we can all agree that what I thought was a decent final result looked in actual fact like a lollipop :palm: .

Anyway I had a few looks at this tree over the last year and did some re-arranging but unfortunately my initial work left me with very few usable branches in very few usable positions, still a good way to learn those lessons I think.

I noticed the other day while watering that there was a little bit of soil around the bottom of the pot and upon inspection I found that some ants had decided that this would make a fine home so today I repotted.

I had this pot with another tree in mind but I decided it was too small, and one of the possible ideas for this tree involved an angle change that would suit this pot just so. I then discovered that the little branch options I had were just enough to make something of this tree so here it sits as of today

This tree will never be a show stopper, but at this stage I think it's something for nothing, and it teaches me once again!

Hope you all enjoy, and some newer than me learn a thing or to from my mistakes

like the look of it now in that pot give it a few years to get a bit bigger and it will really suit that new pot looking good so far though

Good save, Kerrin!
It is starting to look like something! It certainly has fired up my imagination....
How hard/likely is it to initiate back budding lower on the trunk? From what I've read, these guys tend to put their energy more into the top ...

Cheers
