Now that is commitment
Maybe team up with others up your way to purchase for you and then maybe do a drop off for them to defray some of your costs?

G'day,
Does anyone in Sydney have a contact with a mobile coffee van/cart? The guy I had booked has pulled out due to someone rear ending him in his van.
Please let me know here or via PM.
Regards,
Steven

Thanks Ken. I had thought of that but with 6 kids, a busy job, a 2 & 1/2 acre property and my local club about 45 ks away it has been over 18 months since I last made it to a bonsai meeting so I don't know any one else up here and haven't been able to organise something. Maybe next year
This event is actually as close to me as any bonsai nursery aswell, so travelling 500 ks and spending good money just to get there is worth it. It will be my only chance for the year to get good stock.

Is there likely to be EFTPOS facilities available to buyers or will it be cash-only?

Hi Jan B,
Are you please able to post a picture of your B. Rupestris?

Curious to know whether there will be JWP seller that sells starters/pre starter on the day?

One week to go
We've got 21 sellers bringing a huge range of bonsai wares from tools and wire to pots, starter stock, semi mature tree's and high quality bonsai. Hand made pots by Janet Selby and 2 very experienced growers from Melbourne will also be there.
A coffee van has been secured so fresh coffee and cakes will be available to purchase.
If you need an excuse to get out, why not take your significant other to the world class Auburn Japanese Garden which is just down the road. See location below.

If you could help spread the word by telling your bonsai mates, club members etc or even printing the following flyer it would be greatly appreciated. Any reminder emails from newsletter editors to club members would also be great.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone on the day.
Regards,
Steven

3 days to go and the weather report is looking good.
Just to recap on some of the items that will be for sale:
Hand made pots by Janet Selby
Old Japanese pots from a private collection
High quality stock trees from Melbourne growers
Tools, wire etc
Established old bonsai from some of Sydney's Old School bonsaiists.
Starter stock and MORE
Gates open at 10am so get there early and enjoy a coffee while browsing the items for sale.

Steven
