Going for an angle repot, eye level was never my intention but thankyou for your advice Dansai.

Photo should still be from eye level with the pot tilted by wedges or the like. The problem with taking photos from above is it changes the perspective of the tree with the base looking smaller than it is and the top larger and closer. I don't know how much is the photos and how much is how it actually is, but the base of the trunk looks a lot thinner than the top of the trunk.

Here is a better angle from 4 and I must agree that from pre photo + current angle shot is alot different.
Trunk diameter is roughly 3-4cm, it hasn't been fully wired since I thinned down the foliage and branch removal.

Agreed. The angles of the photos make it difficult but the trunk in 1 & 2 to me look a bit too "spring" like, 4 seems strongest.

Better angle! Better looking bonsai too from there, although the trunk diameter seems to change a lot along its length...? Still has much potential.

The trunk diameter is equal, just the way I positioned it which looks off
Once I get couple of new shoots/buds over a two year period, I may eventually jin the new branches vertically which will be wired closer to the trunk. But that will take time
