gosh... I am quite embarrassed and humbled actually... Very nice words from you Peter! I am new but even 10 or 20 years down the track I still intend to learn. There will always new things learn and that's the fun part of it

Don't feel bad about doing the traditional Japanese thing and bringing gifts, freebies or unwanted stock with you when you come.

I visited Bonsai South recently and can throughly recommend everyone gets out there to have a look.
Hoy Leong Kwong was a gracious host and made me feel very welcome. His bonsai displays are absolutely fantastic, the pre-bonsai, starters and trained bonsai that he has for sale are first class and very reasonably priced.
While I was there, I was fortunate to have Leong demonstrate some Ficus pruning techniques. I took the following pictures to share with you all. (sorry about the quality, they were just taken on my phone) Regards,
