All engineering from toolmaking to building skyscrapers use only 2 measurements, mm and M (millimetres and Metres)
That's it no confusion ever again. Why do schools persist in teaching kids to use anything else!

I still want to know what's wrong with feet and inches Ken
(That's what I use anyhow)

WOW what a response!!

All I wanted was a POT (Not a Swimming Pool) 75cm (29.527") x 55cm (21.656") 12cm deep (4.724")?

Thanks for your interest and guidance or is this a sign of the cold weather idle hands and to much time?
I brought some large pots in Adelaide last year but they were a bit small for my tree.

Maybe I should put up a picture of field grown tree I grew and have recently dug up for comment?

Regards Alan
(I'm old I only get on here when I'm home from work?)

Take care now Alan. If a simple request for a pot generates 3 pages of discussion  imagine what posting a photo could do :o You could overload Ausbonsai

Best of luck with the pot hunt and I'm sure we'd love to see what you've grown

Hi Alan,

I had a look and i have a un-glased (redish) oval pot here.
external measurements 800 long x 600 wide and internally 10cm deep.
If you are interested, i could bring it to club next week.

Regards,
Mike
