Not really but sometimes it's best to let nature decide on the placement. As Murata said, doing it this way (burying the pieces under the soil and waiting for the shoots to appear, ''transcends technique'' And I agree. Are there benefits to using the rhizome cuttings rather than stem cuttings ?
