My first thought was to bend the branch back as in where marked in red so it became a back branch heading back towards the base of the tree so as well as giving depth it would give stout to the image(foliage closer to trunk). But this does seem a bit impossible considering the angle and size of the branch. So I am thinking where this branch is marked in green or even the next branch along. It would take a bit more time to fill out this area and it would also necessitate a flattening of some of the other branches I think.
