Ooooooh!

That last pruning was very daring for that tree. Hope it doesn't set it back too much. If I had seen this thread earlier, but only saw it today, I would have suggested to just shorten the low branches. It'll be interesting to see how it develops now.

ps. I wish we could grow cedars and spruces here on the Gold Coast, but it's too warm all year 'round. I've tried a couple of times without success.

Frank - you give me way to much credit in labelling my work "daring" - or you are simply being diplomatic.

I am probably just
stupid... but I am at a point with some trees where - if I kill 'em - meh! But if I can get the bones better and then develop them ... all good. So this will end in the bin or ... if it survives... it will be a better tree for the work but.... I 've still got to learn patience.
