Hi Bohdi,
I love this tree.
This is a general question about apples. I am working on a small apple I grew from seed (yes, I know it won't grow to type). I pruned down to two buds a few times in Spring early summer to get some ramification. Now the branches keep growing and growing and growing. I notice your terminal buds have stopped growing and I assume you have next years buds forming - how do you achieve this?
Cheers,Symon

Hi Symon, an apple tree does not give fruit for 5-8 years so will keep growing until the end of the growing season instead of giving fruit.I would imagine it will slow down once it has set fruit and pays more attention to fruit production. Remember that this is quite a mature tree.
