the way i look at doing virtuals is how i would like it to be if it were mine, when given free lance like this one, if it were mine i would develop it very similar, possible a little more spread but i reckon it would work as is. this is the way i will be striving to get my figs, ramified very nicely and looking natural. there is a fine balance with over ramification and looking natural, a tree will show what it really looks like out of leaf, with leaves it generally hides stuff.

agreed, i think main trunks to get to the right thickness will probably take five years, maybe three if ground grown. ramification should develop pretty quick but there is no point ramifying the tree if the branches arent at the right thicknesses. take your time growing the main structure, trunks and main branching will be the longest time frame and its best to do it right the first time then rush and lose five years cause you got impatient

spot on, figs like chook poo too build the amount up over a bit of how much you put in i remove the sludge if it becomes that way and replace as needed. build up the level every time you replace it.

its not case closed mate just not much more can be said right now until we see it next unless you have some more questions
