Beautiful colour and the leaves are in pristine condition Bodhi, just like last year's photo. Does it receive much protection from the hot summer sun? What's your advice for those trying to make it to Autumn without dried leaf tips on JMs?

Ta Boics, I have enjoyed this trees journey and i guess that is what it is all about.Boics wrote:Beautiful colour and whilst not the most amazing of JM's it's got a great history and is a living example of some great technique.
Inspiring.

Ta Watto, we are lucky in Daylesford in that the conditions are perfect for Autumn colour.Watto wrote:Brilliant colour, I am jealous, and the overall look has also been improved.

Hi orpy, yes you have to have a routine for colour and windburn. I keep it under shadecloth and protected from wind until it starts to turn. i then move it into full sun if it is not hot, so it can get cold at night. Works a treat.
