I shouldn't even post, but i'm bored and couldn't resist.
Just to be clear I'm not a potter, this is not a pot, it is not fired clay and it is not a glaze
Now that we have cleared that up, this is a piece of clay/cement only dried in the oven, it is brittle and in no way fired in a kiln.
Think an ornament not a pot.
The reason I posted, though it is no contribution to this thread, is I was wondering if this colour/texture was achievable in a glaze?
I coloured this clay by brushing on a thick mix of coffee and water. I like the colour and wish to have some proper pots similar. Is this possible with a glaze or close to it?
